Below you will find answers to questions that we get most often.
- When is the registration deadline?
Online registration for all the races is open from January 2012. It will be possible to register online until September 7, 2012. Last minute registration will be possible at the race office on Sptember 8-9.
- When will the race start?
9:30 AM- Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10 km 549 m and Marathon Relay.
15:00 PM - UNICEF KIDS RACE
15-30 AM- 4,2k MINI MARATHON
Official start times will be announced closer to the event.
- Who can apply?
Marathon distance is open to participants above 18 (born before September 9, 1994). Half-marathon is open to participants above 16 (born before September 9, 1996). 10K and 4.2K distances are open to anybody and each participant may choose a distance that fits to his/ her strength and skills.
- What to do if I have made mistake in my name or team name?
If you notice a mistake in your name, birth date or if you have forgotten your team name, send an e-mail message to email@example.com with the correct information.
- Can I change the distance after the registration?
If you have reasons to change the distance it is possible. Due to participation fee differences it is possible to change just for shorter distance (e.g. from Marathon to Half-marathon or from Half-marathon to 10K etc.). The participation fee is not refundable. But if you can’t run on May 20, 2012 you can transfer entry fee for next year.
- I have registered but can't find my name on the participants list
If you have successfully registered but don’t find your name on participants list send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your name, distance and approximate registration time. Organizers will contact you in 48 hours for solving the situation.
- Will I receive a medal of the competition?
All those completing marathon and half-marathon distances will receive “Dasnke Bank Vilnius Marathon 2012” medals. There will be medals for 10K and 4.2K finishers as well.
- What kind of refreshments will be available on the course?
There will be refreshment points at each 5 km of the course. Participants will be offered water, bananas and isotonic sports drink.

- What other services participants can expect?
All participants of marathon and half marathon will be abel to use free massage service after crossing a finish line.
Sepparate WC for man and women will be available at Start/Finish area and near every refreshment point on the race course.
- Is it possible to buy the official marathon T-shirt?
Participants that have registered to run full marathon will be provided with officiali Dankse Bank Vilnius marathon T-shirts free of charge. For all other participants organizers of the marathon offer to order the official marathon T-shirt at the moment of registration. The T-shirt is produced by Adidas using high-quality material. The price of the T-shirt is 20 EUR. It will be possible to buy a T-shirt during the Marathon EXPO and on the marathon day (some sizes might be sold out).
