Marathon will start at 9:00 a.m. on the 13th September 2020 at Cathedral square (Šventaragio street).
This year’s “Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon” will host the Lithuanian Marathon Championship, organized by the Lithuanian Athletics Federation.
There is a time limit of 5:30 hours for the Marathon.
In the start corridor, participants of Marathon have to take their place according to the time zone stickers. Start zones will be marked with balloons and information stands. Start corridor will be closed 10 minutes before start.
Marathon participants must be 18 years or older on the day of the event.
THE OFFICIAL T-SHIRT
Each full marathon runner will be given the official T-Shirt of “Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon” 2019.
FOOD AND SNACKS ON THE COURSE
There will be a total of 16 refreshment stations along the course. The water and isotonic drink zones are approximately 2.5 km apart, food zones – every 5 km.
FIRST AID IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY
Emergency zones with first aid specialists will be stationed every 500 meters. There will also be 11 first aid cyclists moving along the course constantly. 5 ambulances with professional equipment will be stationed along the course.
PACEMAKERS FOR THE MARATHON RUNNERS
If you want to achieve a certain personal time, there will be pacemakers running with you from start to finish. pacemakers results are the following: 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 5:00 hours. These people will be easy to locate on the course due to their apparel and special balloons.
