Anti-doping
The Vilnius Marathon is organized in compliance with the World Athletics Label rules, ensuring fair and clean sports activities. We are committed to ensuring that every participant adheres to the strictest anti-doping requirements to guarantee fair competition and preserve the values of sports. During the event, Vilnius Marathon participants may be randomly selected to undergo anti-doping testing in accordance with the World Athletics Label testing rules. These tests are conducted according to the highest standards and procedures to ensure their accuracy and reliability. Every athlete must be aware of and comply with anti-doping rules, as this is a prerequisite for participating in the competition. We encourage all participants to be informed about prohibited substances, testing procedures, and other important aspects related to anti-doping.

In order to participate in the Vilnius Marathon as a participant in the Lithuanian Marathon Championship, you must have a valid anti-doping training certificate. Although you can participate in the marathon without it, in this case your result will not be included in the Lithuanian Championship standings. We recommend that all participants attend the training and obtain a certificate, as it provides important information about the anti-doping program, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, prohibited substances, and the doping control procedure.
