In order to participate in the Vilnius Marathon as a participant in the Lithuanian Marathon Championship, you must have a valid anti-doping training certificate. Although you can participate in the marathon without it, in this case your result will not be included in the Lithuanian Championship standings. We recommend that all participants attend the training and obtain a certificate, as it provides important information about the anti-doping program, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, prohibited substances, and the doping control procedure.
Important Information for Athletes and Participants:
- List of Prohibited Substances
- Therapeutic Use Exemptions
- Urine Sample Collection Procedures
- Blood Sample Collection Procedures
- Match-Fixing Prevention
Each participant is solely responsible for all drinks, gels, food products, and other products consumed during the race. We recommend checking their ingredients and origin before the event and avoiding products with unclear ingredients or from unreliable sources, as each athlete is personally responsible for their consumption and for any prohibited substances they may contain entering their body.
